Kasia się zdziwiła, bo to już dziewiąty tydzień, a mdłości nadal ani śladu. Nie mogła się doczekać, więc zaczęła szperać po Internecie, gdzie okazało się, że tylko jakieś dziesięć procent kobiet ma mdłości na początku ciąży. Doszła do wniosku, że trudno, ale w tej kwestii nie będzie miała koleżankom absolutnie nic do opowiadania. Na pocieszenie zostały jeszcze zachcianeki. Tutaj niestety też się bardzo zawiodła. Chętka na truskawki z majonezem i śledzie z dżemem nie przyszła. Kasia przez moment nawet miała wątpliwości czy faktycznie jest w ciąży. Zapytała po prostu pielęgniarki w swojej klinice czy to jest normalne, że nie ma żadnych zachcianek. Dowiedziała się, że to też kwestia zupełnie indywidualna i wcale nie dotyczy większości kobiet, ale stała się po prostu mitem, tak samo jak poranne mdłości. Przy okazji wyszło, że fakt, iż Michał wmusza w nią podwójne porcje jedzenia jest zupełnie irracjonalny, bo wbrew pozorom wcale nie musi jeść za dwoje. Zwłaszcza na początku ciąży, kiedy wprawdzie sporo się w organizmie zmienia, ale dziecko jest jeszcze bardzo maleńkie.
