Jako przyszła mama już niedługo zostaniesz wręcz zasypana różnymi prezentami dla dziecka. Wiadomo, że nie wszystkie z nich będą trafione. Przecież nie wszyscy twoi znajomi mają blade pojęcie o dzieciach, a zwłaszcza o noworodkach. Mimo, że to teraz twój absolutny konik, nie miej im za złe, bo chcieli dobrze. Wszystko przyjmij z entuzjazmem i podziękuj. Potem po prostu przejrzyj prezenty i spójrz na nie krytycznym okiem. Sprawdź, które z nich nadają się dla twojego maleństwa na teraz i są bezpieczne, a które przydadzą się, ale później. Większe ubranka, książeczki czy zabawki przeznaczone dla większych dzieci najlepiej spakuj do pudełka, które podpiszesz i ustawisz tak, by nie przeszkadzało, ale też by nie zostało zapomniane i odkryte po wielu latach. Jeśli coś z nietrafionych prezentów sugeruje, że nigdy ci się nie przyda, zastanów się komu mogłabyś to oddać. Jeśli nie znajdziesz nikogo takiego, nietrafiony prezent wrzuć do kosza PCK lub Caritasu, bo w ten sposób ma szanse trafić do kogoś, kto go potrzebuje.
